Who is Stinky Minks?
Stinky Minks is my baby boy. One day, when he was about 4 months old, I randomly started calling him stinky minks. I don’t know where the nickname came from. It just seemed to suit him. His dad thought it was somewhat of an odd nickname but he went with it (he shortened it to just “stinky” when he uses it).
When I decided to start a mom blog, I knew I would be sharing personal stories not just about the baby but about my older two children as well and I wanted to protect their privacy. The baby was my inspiration to start a blog. His older brother and sister are much older. One is a teenager and one is already an adult. Starting over with a new baby at this point in my life was very different because of all of the experiences I’ve had with my other two children. I felt a lot more prepared but surprisingly, still learning more along the way. I guess we never stop learning as parents. Any personal stories that I share, we will all be referred to as Mama Minks, Daddy Minks, Sister Minks, Brother Minks, and Stinky Minks (the baby) to protect their privacy.
I am in no way any kind of expert and don’t pretend to be. All of the information that I share is from personal experiences and things that have (and have not) worked for me as a mom. Take the information that you find useful and leave the rest. Thank you for being a part of the Stinky Minks family!
